Air
Dalat's airport is 30 kilometers south of town off Highway 20. A minibus
makes the 30-minute ride for US$3. Buy your ticket at the snack counter.
Tell the driver which hotel you're staying at and he'll drop you off.
Otherwise, the bus ends up at the Vietnam Airlines office downtown. Minibuses
leave from the Vietnam Airlines office about 2 hours prior to departing
flights. Some hotels provide private minibus service for their guests.
Bus
The bus station is on the edge of town as you come in on Highway 20. Even hard-core travelers who have done the bus scene in other developing
countries should think twice before getting on a bus here. As an alternative, minibus service is available to and from Ho Chi Minh City or Nha Trang. Figure spending the better part of a day to reach either city.
Train
There is no train to Dalat.
